Toledo Blade: Ohio EPA lauds “milestone” landfill gas treatment system

 James Lee, Ohio EPA spokesman, told The Blade, “This is a milestone Ohio EPA has been anticipating for several years as a significant step in the process to curb both H2S and SO2 emissions from the landfill… Ohio EPA’s air team inspected the new system on June 6 and verified that the equipment is treating all landfill gas and removing more than the required amount of hydrogen sulfide prior to flaring the gas in a new enclosed flare.”
