Twice per month, BoJuhn Environmental conducts water sampling process as part of the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System. BoJuhn collects the samples by lowering a container into the outfall water or transferring from a clean container at each of four outfall locations. Water temperature, flow rate, and pH are collected and recorded at each location. BoJuhn then places the sample on ice and delivers to their analytical laboratory for analysis under strict chain of custody protocols.

Additionally, once per quarter, the Seneca County General Health District participates in WIN Waste Innovations’ testing, collecting split samples of surface water and sediment soil that is then tested by its laboratory. Years of data demonstrates that the landfill is protective of human health and the environment.
